A work of land art 1 acre square set in 10 acres of open space surrounded by forest. Composed of over 6000 steel rods on plates, each rod 6’ tall and each bearing 1000 marks. Buried within is an infant’s footfall visible only from above. The monument cannot be entered. Generations look on, mourn and remember, but cannot be of them; can know only the endurance they bequeathed.
